It is spicy, hot and totally delicious dish and it is healthy to. Here i give how can prepare this dish completely in simple way . In this dish the egg absorbs the flavors of black pepper, curry leaves and cumin seed. Enjoy Egg Masala Dry (ಮೊಟ್ಟೆ ಮಸಾಲ ಡ್ರೈ) with rice or ROTI it just awesome.
Method of preparation-
- Heat the pan and add 2 tsp of oil.- As oil heats up, add slitted green chilies and fry till Chilly releases flavor in the oil.
- As green chilly fries up add curry leaves and cumin seeds.
- Fry well.
- Next add 2 spoonful of ginger garlic paste.
- Fry until its raw smell goes off.
- Next add finely chopped onion and rock salt according to the taste.
- Cook it well.
- As it cooks add dry spices (1 tsp turmeric powder and 2 tsp of black pepper powder) and 1 tsp of soy-sauce, Mix well.
- Next add 3-4 tsp of red chilly powder and mix well.
- If you fell the masala is to dry add little amount of water.
- After that add chopped tomato .
- Cook in presence of moisture to smooth texture.
- As you got the required consistency squeeze half lemon mix well and turn off the pan.
- Add eggs and cover the egg with prepared masala.
- Garnish the egg with coriander leaves.
- In the same pan steam the egg by adding little amount of water, kept at low flame for 1 min so that the egg will becomes moist.
- Serve the Hot egg masala recipe and enjoy with ROTI Or with steamed rice.
