Jeera tamboli (ಜೀರಿಗೆ ತಂಬುಳಿ) is simple and quickest dish prepared from few ingredients. The dish has very rich flavors and property of cumin seeds, especially good for those who want to have a lighter dinner. I loved to have this dish with steamed rice OR with roti. This dish has hardly 2-3 steps and do not requires stove to be on, Let us try dish.
Ingredients required-
Jeera/ Cumin seeds- 1 tsp
Grated coconut- A fist fullBadagi red chillies 3-4 No.
Kokam / Tamarind
Method of preparation:
- Prepare Kokam concentrate by adding 2-3 Kokam pulp in hot water and leave it aside for at-least 30min.
- In a Grinder jar take coconut, red chillies and a spoonful cumin seeds form a smooth paste, adding sufficient water.
- Take this ground stuff in a container.
- Add salt for taste as well as Kokam extract And mix well.
- Enjoy this recipe with Rice( This gravy is not cooked. So keep it refrigerated. Remove from refrigerator half an hour before serving)
