Patrode (ಪತ್ರೊಡೆ) is a traditional Coastal Karnataka and Goan traditional snack made from C ol ocasia leaves (ಕೆಸುವಿನ್ ಎಲೆಗಳು) with spiced batter. Pathrode is a vegetarian delicacy from Konkani cuisine. The dish is made from layer of colocasia leaves with a masala paste, steamed and then shallow fried with semolina. Lets see the simple steps of preparation of this recipe. Preparation of masala: - Clean Red chilly (10-15 No.) a fist-full of coriander seeds and Tamarind with water. - Take this in a grinder and grind to form a smooth paste with addition of water. - Next add soaked rice in same grinder and salt to taste. - Grind together and form a smooth and consistent thick paste. - Take it in a bowl.
