Patrode(ಪತ್ರೊಡೆ) REcipe

Patrode (ಪತ್ರೊಡೆ) is a traditional Coastal Karnataka and Goan traditional snack made from C ol ocasia leaves (ಕೆಸುವಿನ್ ಎಲೆಗಳು) with spiced batter. Pathrode is a vegetarian delicacy from Konkani cuisine. The dish is made from layer of colocasia leaves with a masala paste, steamed and then shallow fried with semolina. Lets see the simple steps of preparation of this recipe. Preparation of masala: - Clean Red chilly (10-15 No.) a fist-full of coriander seeds and Tamarind with water. - Take this in a grinder and grind to form a smooth paste with addition of water. - Next add soaked rice in same grinder and salt to taste. - Grind together and form a smooth and consistent thick paste. - Take it in a bowl. Note- Small amount of Cumin/Jeera powder, Pepper powder and Chaat-masala also can be added for the different taste. Method of preparation: - Clean the Colocasia Leaves and remove all the possible veins to reduce itchiness. - Place the Colocasia Leaf on table as shown below and sp

H05- Non-Positive displacement pump(Hydro dynamic pump)

Hydrodynamic/non positive displacement pump: - A Non-positive displacement produces a continuous flow/discharge and it uses  Inertia of the fluid to displace or transfer the fluid flow. - These types of pumps are generally used for low pressure and high-volume flow application. - In this type of pump liquid velocity and movement is large, output pressure depends velocity with which the liquid is made to flow. - Since these pumps are not capable of withstanding high pressure, these pumps are primarily used to transfer the fluid from one place to another place. Centrifugal(Impeller type) and axial flow(Propeller type) pumps are examples for this type . - This type of pump is provided with greater clearance between rotary and stationary element hence this type of the pump is not self priming . - Because it does not provide a positive internal seal against slippage its output varies according to the vary in pressure at outlet i.e. pump will give maximum output when the output pressure is

H04- Hydraulic pumps and pumping theory

Pump  is One of the important element in the hydraulic system which is also be called as heart of the hydraulic system. The main purpose of the pump in hydraulic system is generation of hydraulic power i.e. pump acts as power generating element. What is pump? The device which converts mechanical energy to hydraulic energy is called as pump. The pump which converts energy from one form to another form.      Here what happens is the pump is driven from a motor i.e. energy conversion takes place from electrical energy/muscle energy to mechanical energy in motor. As the pumping element inside the pump starts to move pressure/flow of the fluid is going to increases i.e conversion of energy from mechanical to hydraulic energy takes place. How the pump will work?      When a hydraulic pump operates, it performs two functions. 1st mechanical action creates partial vacuum at pump inlet which allows the atmospheric pressure to force the liquid from reservoir into the pump inlet. 2nd the me
